World Kindness Day is November 13, 2022. It falls on the same date each year. This annual event aims to highlight good deeds and positive actions taking place in the world. Anyone can participate and even small actions add up.
Spread Positivity
Send a positive note to a family member, friend, coworker, and so forth. Try to brighten someone’s day with a surprise note. Leave positive affirmations, a compliment, or even a thank you. The message doesn’t need to be a long one. You can go old school with a paper note or send an electronic one via text, email, or social media. You can even spread positive affirmations to strangers by making kindness rocks. Simply paint a rock with a positive word and leave it somewhere for a stranger to find and brighten their day.
Donate or Volunteer
Donate to your favorite charity or a local nonprofit. You can make a monetary donation, drop off food or clothes at a local food bank, or donate your time. You don’t need to invest a lot of money or time to make a difference. Volunteering for a local organization can make a positive impact not only on those you’re helping but also on yourself. Treat Someone
You can also treat a friend, family member, coworker, etc. to something as simple as coffee. Set up a time to go to a coffee shop together or surprise them with their favorite coffee house beverage. This doesn’t need to be fancy or expensive, but simply a way to brighten someone’s day. Spend time catching up and enjoy their company. If coffee isn’t your thing, try something else like a bakery.
There are many ways you can participate in World Kindness Day. Think of who you would like to spread kindness to. Remember it doesn’t need to be big. Simple, small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Now go out and spread some joy.
